All teams at Elite focus on data security as a matter of course. We’ve been safeguarding your personal information for 20-years and only requesting the necessary data to enable us to deliver products and services, support you to the best of our ability, and keep you up to date with relevant news and product releases. And we will continue to do this under the GDPR regulations.
We work vigorously to protect our customer’s data from the latest threats. This is not a one-time effort; it’s a continual process that we monitor and work on. Security and privacy have always been by design and by default in all Elite solutions.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the culmination of many years of negotiation and discussion between the EU member states to unify privacy and security law across the continent. It is to be layered upon existing national laws which were fragmented since the last attempt to do this, the UK’s version was the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA).
While the law has been in place since 25th May 2016, it comes into enforcement 25th May 2018.
